Guest News
Basin Harbor is delighted to welcome back Jeffrey Yeager and Laura Rotenberg from Lenox, MA, along with Emily. We’re also glad to see Alfred & Joan Karman again, here for a few days from Jamaica, NY. A heartfelt belated welcome goes out to the Sullivan Family, Carly, Halle, Nate, and Dick, who arrived on Sunday. How wonderful to have you with us!

Bingo News
Congratulations to all the Bingo winners from Sunday night! Regular Bingo kicked off with a tie between Daniel Skea from Madison, NJ and Andrew Butcher of Darien, CT. A three-way tie came about for Picture Frame, with Breanna DeCola of Wilton, CT, Adam Heater from Dorset, VT, and Daniel Skea from Madison, NJ splitting the pot. Postage Stamp resulted in yet another tie, this time split between Isaac Peabody from Ridgewood, NJ and Jenny White from Upper Saddle River, NJ. Rochester, NY turned up winners for High Stakes and X Marks the Spot Bingo, with Kelly Gilman and Mary Sheraton, respectively. Laura White of Upper Saddle River, NJ triumphed over Four Corners, while the Stand Up Sit Down victory went to Casey DeCola from Wilton, CT. Our Blackout champion of the night went to that lucky duck Adam Heaton of Dorset, VT, who left the game $180 richer. Nicely done! And for thosenot-so-lucky Bingo players, better luck at our next game on Thursday!

Resort News
My, what a busy week we have! Due to popularity with our hikes and kayak treks, we’ve added an additional kayak option today at 1pm with Abbey, and a hike up Buck Mountain with Matt on Thursday afternoon. Be sure to sign up with the concierge! We would also like to send out a special thank you to our gracious guest Jack Butcher who was kind enough to shuttle our large group of hikers across the lake yesterday. We really appreciate the help!

Ann-Marie will be capturing candid images at various events throughout the day and this evening at the Harbor Fair. Please feel free to say hello and let her know if you have any requests. Our Family Portrait Special will be available tonight at Harbor Fair and Thursday morning at the Wilderneath Garden. Space is limited, so please sign up in advance with the concierge.

Speaking of photos, how about making yours famous? We want to see how much fun you and your family are having this summer, and we’d love to share the snapshots from your BHC vacation on our website, blog, and on Facebook! Drop by the front desk this morning and borrow a BHC photo card, put it in your camera, and let the magic unfold. Then bring it back to us at the end of the day, and let the magic unfold to the rest of the world! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

BHC is a proud promoter of our canine friends, but we’d like to remind our guests that not everyone is comfortable with dogs. Please leash your pets! Due to low lake levels, we realize that the dog beach is a bit muddy, so we invite you to bring Fido down to the South Beach or the Harbor beach before 8am and after 7pm, only. We appreciate you picking up after your dogs. Thank you!

How could it get any more fun down at the HAAAAAARbor? With pirates, of course! BHC is putting on a swashbuckling good time at our Pirate Party tomorrow from 4:30 to 6:30, so come prepared to walk the plank and feast like a scalliwag. Sign up in advance with the concierge or by calling Jen at ext. 832.

Basin Harbor offers a very unique opportunity this evening to help kick your post-dinner imagination into gear. Two of Vermont’s most famous storytellers, Tim Jennings and Leanne Ponder, will share stories and music that will engage crowds of all ages. Come see the magic!
